This March, A Day to Remember are set to take over Australian stages at Knotfest alongside Slipknot, Within Temptation, Slaughter to Prevail (and many more!) and we are excited toannounce that they will perform an exclusive headline show at Fortitude Music Hall on Monday 3 March, joined by Thornhill and Ocean Grove.
Since their formation in 2003, A Day To Remember quietly emerged as arguably the biggest underground band in the world. The Florida group affirmed this status by achieving one platinum album, two gold albums, one platinum single, and four gold singles. Not to mention, each full-length record ascended to #1 on the Billboard Rock, Indie, and/or Alternative Charts with 2016’s ‘Bad Vibrations’ bowing at #2 on the Billboard 200. They’ve put up unprecedented numbers for a rock act in the 21st century, generating nearly 2 billion streams worldwide and sales of three million-plus units. They’ve also packed arenas on continental tours and attracted a global audience consisting of millions.
Melbourne’s Thornhill have solidified their undeniable reputation as one of the most innovative and immersive heavy acts in the Australian scene. Since the release of their debut album ‘The Dark Pool’ in 2019, the band has made waves in the scene touring extensively throughout Australia, North America and Europe. Their sophomore album ‘Heroine’ released in 2021 debuted at #1 on the Australian Album charts, accumulating more than 25 million streams to date. WIth recent singles ‘Viper Room’, ‘Obsession’ and ‘nerv’, Thornhill are preparing for their biggest year to date.
Opening the night will be Ocean Grove. An eclectic trio of misfits from Melbourne, Ocean Grove remain the enigma of Australia’s heavy scene with their unique blend of nu-metal, hardcore and alternative rock to craft a sound that is uniquely their own. Ocean Grove have captivated audiences around the globe with their high-energy performances, infectious melodies and visually striking aesthetics, earning them a devoted worldwide following.
